LIGHT Invite | Competition Package

Welcome to the official Competition Package for the 2027 LIGHT Invite.
This package contains the official policies, procedures, registration information, deadlines, and discipline-specific details for clubs, coaches, judges, and athletes participating in the event.
​
All registrations for the LIGHT Invite will be completed through SportSoft for WAG and MAG and KSIS for ACRO. Registered clubs, coaches, athletes, and families will also have access to competition schedules, rotations, and live results throughout the competition weekend.
​
The preliminary competition schedule will be distributed to registered clubs by January 2027.
​
As competition details continue to be finalized, we encourage clubs, coaches, and judges to visit the official LIGHT Invite webpage regularly for the latest announcements, venue information, hotel accommodations, maps, schedules, and event updates.

MEET INFORMATION
COMPETITION VENUE
WinSport Event Centre, Canada Olympic Park

The event will be held at the WinSport Event Centre, located in the Markin MacPhail Centre.
PARKING
Please note, free parking is in effect for our event.
Parking lots are indicated in white on the map beside.
Accessible parking is available in the designated lots. Guests looking to use these spots must have a valid accessible parking pass properly displayed on their vehicle.
REGISTRATION PAYMENT
Payment is due at the time of registration and no later than December 1, 2026. Any account with a balance still outstanding after December 16, 2026 (15 days past the due date) will be charged a late fee of $50.00 plus GST.

All fees are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD). Teams registering from the US or internationally will be charged at the exchange rate in effect on the day of registration.
​
A registration is only confirmed once we have both your completed online form and your payment. Many groups fill before the deadline, so register and pay early to make sure your athletes get a spot.

WAIVER FORMS
Alberta Clubs: In place of competitor-specific waiver forms, it is assumed that the parent/guardian of the athlete has previously completed the Alberta Gymnastics Federation (AGF) Release of Liability waiver and Personal Information Protection Act form through their home club for the 2026/27 season.
Out-of-Province Clubs: All athletes are required to complete the AGF waiver and PIPA release forms. Click here to download the waiver forms. Confirmation that your club is in good standing with your PTO will need to be provided. Please scan the signed waivers and confirmation to info@lightacrogym.ca.
Photo/Video Release: In place of competitor-specific Personal Information Protection Act form, it is inferred that by registering and paying for your athlete, the parent/guardian of the athlete consents to the use, release, publication and collection of sounds and images (video and pictures) to be published or aired in a variety of locations, including on television, radio and newspaper, as well as LIGHT Gymnastics website, and social media platforms and publications.
EQUIPMENT & MEDICAL
Equipment: WAG and T&T equipment is supplied by Spieth America.
With Spieth equipment technicians on site during the competition.
Medical: Paramedic medical services will be provided on-site during the event.

All Coaches must be registered through SportzSoft
Coach registrations must be submitted no later than December 1, 2026. Coach registrations received after the deadline will be considered late and subject to a
$15.00 + GST late fee per coach.
WITHDRAWLS AND LEVEL CHANGES
Withdrawal Deadline: Dec 1, 2026
Medical Withdrawal Deadline: Jan 7, 2027
Level Change Deadline: Jan 7, 2027
Please use this form to submit your withdrawals and level changes for LIGHT Invite 2027.
REFUND POLICY
Withdrawals: Refund requests submitted on or before December 1, 2026, will be honoured less a $40.00 administrative fee.
Medical Withdrawals: Only medical refund requests will be accepted from December 1, 2026, through January 7, 2027. All medical refund requests must be accompanied by a valid doctor’s note submitted with the form. Notes from physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, or other non-physician practitioners will not be accepted. Medical refunds will be honoured less a $40.00 administrative fee and $52.50 for the cost of the suit.
No refunds will be issued after January 7, 2027, for any reason, including medical withdrawal or no-shows. We kindly ask that all scratches submitted after January 7, 2027, be submitted through the form, so we can keep the judges informed. All approved refunds will be processed following the conclusion of the competition and will be sent by e-transfer.
